WHO ARE YOU?
You’re the Growth Hacking know-it-all, who’s obsessed with online marketing, running experiments and optimising conversions wherever possible (coffee machine perhaps?). But meanwhile, you’re also a little frustrated with sitting behind a computer screen all day. You know you have A LOT more to offer. Helping others understand and practice Growth Hacking is what really gets you going.
You have both the patience and the passion to inspire, lead and train a unique mix of young talents, promising startup teams and successful Corporate professionals (yes, all three of them!). You’re that outgoing-type-hacker, who loves nothing more than for others to start owning that lean, mean Growth Hacking machine.
WHO ARE WE?
We are a unique threesome, consisting out of (brace yourself) an international startup accelerator a.k.a. ‘Startupbootcamp’, a corporate digital innovation accelerator a.k.a. ‘Innoleaps’ and – the youngest of three – a training institute for young talent & professionals a.k.a. ‘The Talent Institute’. Us three combined, we empower innovators. And need YOUR help doing so. Inside the co-working space B. Amsterdam we rule our own startup and innovation ecosystem, with a great team of around 55 people that is continuously growing.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You mean, what won’t you do? (ha ha.). You will be involved in a lot of growth hacking ‘things’ (you hear, we need you badly) for all three companies. This means, you will get to experience and combine the best of these three worlds;
1) The Talent Institute
You will become the Lead Expert for our Growth Hacking training + traineeship program, aimed to turn young, naive and contagiously-ambitious talent into the next generation of Growth Hackers. This means designing the course, the content and even the slides (yes everyone here works both back and front end). This also includes teaching, inviting experts from your network to deliver workshops, arranging ‘Crack The Cases’ from fast growing companies and so on.
You will assist the SBC team in growth hacking their promising startups, whose teams are working day and night to create the next big thing. As their Growth Hacking mentor and trainer, you will guide them in hacking their way to the million-user-heaven. So to speak.
Last but not least, you will enter the world of the output-driven and traditional corporate professionals, who are seeking to venture out of their oh-so-comfortable zone. Think big names, big change, big challenges. With your lean startup mindset and we-can-change-the-world-mentality, you are determined to help them change and embrace failure instead of killing it. By delivering workshops and input for the accelerator program you will help corporates to start thinking and acting like startups, growth-hacking-style.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF…
Good morning world!
Whilst optimising your coffee, you’re having a catch up with everyone as they arrive for work. You hear one of the TTI Trainees is struggling with an experiment at their traineeship company. You’ll give him/her a quick call later.
Daily to do’s
You answer your ‘urgent’ emails and create today’s to-do list. Oh and what’s everyone saying on Slack? You also quickly check your calendar because no day is the same. Am I even at the right place now?! Oops. Need to run, bye!
Coaching a Corporate team at the Innoleaps accelerator
Around 30 corporate professionals are waiting for you in the ‘Red Room’. They’re excited to get started, but have no clue what the growth hacking session is going to be like. You know exactly what it’ll be like. Life changing (more or less). Sixty minutes and two hundred post-its later, everyone leaves the room with new energy, inspiration and above all, an experiment-driven mindset.
SBC mentor meeting
You have a meeting with an e-commerce startup that are part of the SBC accelerator program. You advise them on how they can start growing their user base. After listening to their value proposition you give them some action points to work with. Let’s check back in with them next week.
Meeting with the TTI Team
There’s a new start date approaching for the Growth Hacking program. You consult the rest of the team and gather input to improve and change the curriculum where needed. Also, you just discovered that one of the students just got a job offer. THAT’S AWESOME! You’re proud like a parent!
The ground floor lounge is huge. It’s also the social hub for the entire building. They have a fresh buffet every day. What sandwich tower will you build this time?
Workshop at The Talent Institute
After a fulfilling lunch you join the TTI Trainees in the classroom and initiate an energizer. Let’s get the group’s energy going again! Then, you start your workshop about Acquisition in the AARRR funnel. This workshop fits perfectly within the entire curriculum you designed.
The trainees finished and presented their assignment on acquisition in the AARRR funnel. They did well! They just need to fill in their feedback forms and then it’s time to wrap up and have some drinks together. It’s Friday after all.
